Mish Mash 19

I'm tired but happy. The internet was broken in the studio, so there was no communication either inwards or outwards. It's a strange thing, sending music into the air yet being unaware of whether none or one or many people are listening. You just send it out in good faith, with the best of wills, but you have no proof that it reaches anyone.

And if no one heard these tunes, did i really play them?

  1. St Vincent - Your Lips Are Red

so last night was a little tricky. we had some problems with the live session. it was my first session on the radio (it was only my 2nd ever show, forchrissakes) and i think it's fair to say that the technical support could have been a little more, well, supportive. anyway we got there in the end, and the artist in question, Alexander Thomas, came through a stressful soundcheck to perform with aplomb.

it's all a learning curve...
