No longer broadcasting on bristol's airwaves, radiomishmash has evolved into a mixtape project for friends. Consequently, this blog fell, forgotten, into a gutter of the internet.

But now it's back, for 2 reasons:

1 - because i want to write about my festive50 mixtapes

2 - because i kept getting bugged by people on facebook who write all sorts of things which would be more appropriate elsewhere. i found myself wishing they'd just get a blog, so i wouldn't have to read 20 posts a day about the minutiae of their lives. and then i realised, hey, i have a blog. i can write about my stuff and not bug people with it.

So i dusted this one down, and hey presto. Off i go.

so last night was a little tricky. we had some problems with the live session. it was my first session on the radio (it was only my 2nd ever show, forchrissakes) and i think it's fair to say that the technical support could have been a little more, well, supportive. anyway we got there in the end, and the artist in question, Alexander Thomas, came through a stressful soundcheck to perform with aplomb.

it's all a learning curve...
